Dr. R. Scott Parker II is a West Tennessee native and completed his family medicine residency training at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He graduated from Arlington High School, Christian Brothers University, and UTHSC. Dr. Parker is excited to join Baptist University and to serve the local community. He has a passion for preventative care for all ages and hopes to be your family’s physician. He joined Baptist Medical Group in 2021.

Scott Vicenzi, DO, CAQSM is a board-certified family and sports medicine physician committed to keeping the population healthy and active. He specializes in the non-operative management of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries and primary care management with a passion for prevention. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Family and Sports Medicine at Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as Team Physician for the Memphis Hustle.

Dr. Vicenzi earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary engineering from Purdue University and his medical degree from the University of North Texas. He completed his residency in family medicine at the Dell Medical School. He then went on to complete his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky.

Nadja Barrantes is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of bedside nursing experience in areas such as ER, ICU, step-down, and surgery recovery. Originally from Brazil, Nadja has lived in the US most of her life and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Nadja joined Baptist Medical Group in 2024.
